Nestled in the Rockies Mountains, at the gateway to Banff National Park, St. Michael's Anglican Church has a rich history dating back to 1893. Today the historical church has been maintained to reflect this tradition, and yet has been expanded to include a large modern hall, meeting rooms and kitchen.
Our Hall is available for rental, at $25.00 per hour, and a flat rate of $200.00/day.
If you are renting the hall in addition to a wedding, the rate is $500.00. This includes access for set-up the evening before.
We ask that your function end at Midnight at the latest, and you should be all cleared out by 1am. Please be mindful to observe the Town Ordnance noise curfew of 11.pm. Your consideration is appreciated, as we are quite close to a seniors' housing complex.
We ask for two deposit cheques. The key deposit is $175.00. The building security deposit is $500.00. Both are refundable, providing keys are returned and there are no damages. A copy of your insurance is required.
We are authorized to allow liquor consumption on our premises. If you would like to serve alcohol, you will be required to obtain an Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission License, from their website for approx. $10.00. This must be posted in plain sight during your event.
The Hall Measures: 30' across by 45' deep, with a small low stage. Our Fire Code Capacity is for 170 people. It has a vaulted ceiling with dimmer switch lighting. The floor is linoleum tiling. The walls are light yellow, and decorated with some religious art, mainly quilts (which may not be removed).The hall includes use of: Tables ( 30, 6'x2.5' folding plastic) Card Tables (6, 2.5'x2.5') Chairs ( 200 folding plastic) Table linens (light pink, white) A large projector screen. Also included is access to the kitchen, with use of it's warming oven, refrigerator, dishes (White), glassware, stemware, cutlery, etc.
**A condition of rental, is that the tables and chairs be replaced to their storage area.
Floors must be swept and wet mopped. The washrooms and kitchen are to be left clean and all returned to the way it was found. Linens must be laundered and returned within two days.
Smaller meeting rooms or the nursery are available for $10.00 per hour. The nursery is fully furnished with toys, books, etc. Children must be supervised during use.
The kitchen use is only available with the hall facility rental. It can not be rented alone. It is NOT a commercial enterprise kitchen.
