This year we celebrated our Fall Supper on Monday October 7, 2019.

Volunteers from our Church and many others, plus some consistent Food & Friends helpers, came out to make the evening an overwhelming success.

We strayed a little from tradition, in serving Ham instead of turkey.

It was hailed as a welcome change, although some patrons missed the old reliable.

Baked hams were donated by Save On Foods, precarved and readied for dinner.  This was served with heaps of mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, coleslaw, fresh buns and butter.  Diners had a choice of a tasty fruit sauce or mustard to compliment the Ham. Pat & Mat had pies-a-plenty for dessert!

We are so grateful to the Pathfinders for helping to serve, re-set and clean up. These girls are true gems in their service to our Church functions and our community.  Thank You!

We served over 250 hungry folks in a Harvest themed evening where everyone knew they had much to be Thankful for.

Especially Virginia and Gottfried Hasse, our fearless leaders, who were relieved when we could get home before 9pm!
