Mental health matters

Mental health is so important but can be very difficult to talk about. We want you to know that St Michael's is a safe space for you or anybody you know to share anything that you’re struggling with in a supportive and judgement-free environment. We are here to support you, so please reach out.

If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.

PSALM 139:11-12

1 in 4 people will experience some kind of mental health challenge in the course of a year. Whether it’s you, or someone you’re supporting, please know that you’re not alone and there are people out there who can help.

Seeking practical support is an amazing step and something that holds no shame. If you would like help in doing this, please get in touch or reach out to a friend. Here are some recommendations of where to go for practical support.
