Jesse Holland is the parish priest here at St. Michael's Church in Canmore.
With over forty years experience of church ministry including working with British Youth For Christ and the YMCA, and over twenty six years of ordained ministry in the Anglican Church, he was appointed parish priest of Canmore in 2024.
Jesse studied theology at The London Bible College, Oak Hill Theological College, and Oxford University, and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Theological and Pastoral Studies from Middlesex University and a Masters degree in Applied Theology from the University of Oxford.
He describes himself as an exegete and believes that both church and society have nothing to fear from honest biblical scholarship. His philosophy is ‘to live it fully and explain it simply, you need to understand it profoundly’.
