Jesse is the Incumbent Priest / Minister at St. Michael's Church in Canmore.
Prior to moving to Canada, Jesse worked in church planting, chaplaincy, town and rural ministry both in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, and with young people through British Youth For Christ and the YMCA schools work. He has been the chairperson for SEELEF (South East Essex Local Evangelical Fellowship Youth Groups), a cub scout leader (Wood Badge) in Devonshire and was also the Mid Devon District Scout Chaplain.
Jesse studied at The London Bible College, Oak Hill Theological College, and Oxford University, and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Theological and Pastoral Studies and a M.Th degree in Applied Theology. He is passionate about exegetical bible teaching, writing, and research, and believes that the church and society benefits from honest biblical scholarship. His philosophy is ‘to live it fully and explain it simply, you need to understand it profoundly’.
He loves Soccer (Nottingham Forest Football Club) of which he is a member, enjoys music, reading, fair weather cycling, mountain biking, and radio detective dramas.
In 2024, Jesse entered ministry in the Anglican Church of Canada.
