Christianity has been my anchor through a life of change, including 14 years living abroad with my family. Wherever I’ve lived, throughout Canada and from the Middle East to Norway to the U.S. Bible Belt, I have sought out and found churches in the Anglican tradition. The Anglican Church and her guiding principles have shaped my journey and strengthened my spiritual foundation.
Now settled in Canmore, I’ve been engaged in church life at St. Michaels Church for over 15 years, where I have forged friendships across generations and diverse backgrounds. Canmore offers a vibrant home where I embrace an active life—hiking, cycling, downhill skiing, joining senior fitness classes, and competing in national senior track and field events.
As a church warden, I am honoured to serve the parish, our clergy and the diocese, ensuring our community continues to thrive in faith and fellowship.
